We currently have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior HR Generalist.  The Senior HR Generalist serves as primary liaison for the Chief HR Officer on enterprise-wide HR initiatives and projects. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: policy development, employment law and compliance, process and project management, change management, and HRIS.


  • Responsible for the overall management of HR portfolio of enterprise level projects and initiatives including tracking progress and working with HR Managers on implementation timelines and support.
  • Participates in process re-engineering for HR procedures as guided by technology solutions such as online performance management, compensation, new hires, terminations, and employee/manager self-service.
  • Assist CHRO with change management processes and employee communication strategies across the organization.
  • Develops and updates HR policies/procedures and maintains the employee handbook.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Develops and maintains compliance calendar for department (OSHA, harassment, etc); responsible for submission of reports including EEO-1 annual report.
  • Supports HRIS Manager with reporting and data integrity for HR system as needed.
  • Conducts annual FLSA audit for all business segments in partnership with HR Managers.
  • Manages employee pulse surveys and consolidates exit survey data at an organizational level; creates reports to be used by business leaders across the enterprise.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.


Required Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree and minimum three years HR experience, or a master's degree in HR management and two years of experience in the HR field.
  • Intermediate level technology skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Education and Experience

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Word and Excel and HRIS
  • Experience with business intelligence reporting
  • Minimum 7 years related HR experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated change management and strategic thinking skills
